Dr. Ali Al-Shaabi
The College of Pharmacy is committed to achieving its vision, mission, and goals that are consistent with the vision, mission, and goals of Najran University through leadership in pharmaceutical education, scientific research, community service, and preparing distinguished and competitive pharmacists for the labour market in order to contribute to the development of the health role entrusted to them and the development of the pharmaceutical sector in this benevolent country.
The college consists of five main scientific departments: the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, the Department of Pharmacology, the Department of Pharmaceutics, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and the Department of Drugs. The college offers a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program. These departments teach the various courses of the program, which include several aspects in the fields of pharmacy to enable the graduate to work in various fields such as hospital pharmacies, community pharmacies, drug companies and factories, poison centres, the Food and Drug Authority and other fields of the pharmacy profession. The college also seeks to develop its undergraduate programs in addition to preparing postgraduate programs in clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences and quality control in pharmaceutical products, which will improve the quality and output of pharmaceutical education.
The college has an important and active role in community service by implementing many community initiatives and providing pharmaceutical consultations that target all members of society. Awareness in the optimal use of medicines and medicinal herbs.
In conclusion, I welcome all my students in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Najran University, praying to God for their success.
