Unit tasks - College of Pharmacy
1- Determine all requirements for laboratories, devices and software to equip laboratories to serve the educational process within the college laboratories in coordination with the scientific departments, and study the offers submitted by companies and recommend the best of them in matching the technical specifications.
2- Supervise and follow up on the receipt of scientific devices and equipment from companies in coordination with the scientific departments. And ensure that they match the required specifications, in addition to arranging them in a code system that facilitates the inventory, addition and disbursement process.
3- Follow up on the maintenance and operation of scientific devices with the relevant authorities and ensure that they are operated in a way that serves the educational and research process within the college.
4- Follow up on the development and establishment of the central laboratory within the college in coordination with the college deanship and scientific departments.
5- Develop development plans for the laboratories in the college in coordination with the scientific departments
6- Build a database with the names and addresses of local and scientific companies specialized in supplying laboratory equipment and chemical materials in the college's specializations.
7- Develop a plan to develop and update the specifications and standards for laboratories in terms of: (ventilation - lighting - electricity extension - security and safety tools and systems - and other necessary specifications and standards).
