Objective of Department - College of Pharmacy

Department Objectives
  1. Contribute to achieving the college’s mission by preparing pharmacists who are able to provide a distinguished medical service by qualifying them with the necessary knowledge and skills for this through teaching pharmacology and toxicology courses for the bachelor’s level as well as the master’s and doctoral stages by highly qualified faculty members and through an approved study plan.
  2. Sustaining the development of faculty members’ competence to carry out their scientific tasks in teaching students and graduate students, as well as scientific research in the specializations of pharmacology and toxicology.
  3. Conducting research in the fields of pharmacology and toxicology to enrich scientific research and gain skills and experience with the aim of developing modern drug treatment systems that help provide services, drug consultations and treatment of poisoning cases.
  4. Achieving quality standards in the fields of education and scientific research in the field of specialization, following the latest methods and modern techniques, as well as methods of evaluating the department’s outputs and programs.
  5. Excellence in supporting students scientifically through the office and extension hour's system and the exploitation of distance learning techniques.
