The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology works to achieve the vision of the department, which is consistent with the vision of the college and keeps pace with the ambitious vision of the Kingdom 2030. The role of the department is not limited to the process of teaching students only the courses of pharmacology and toxicology, but the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology contributes to building a knowledge society through drug education, scientific research, and community service, all of which contribute to the improvement of public health and health care for the entire community.

The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology aims to contribute to the preparation of qualified pharmacists who are able to provide distinguished medical and scientific services and compete in the labor market by qualifying them with the knowledge and skills necessary to solve problems through teaching pharmacology and toxicology courses. The department also conducts research in the fields of pharmacology, toxicology, and other pharmaceutical fields, with the aim of developing modern drug treatment systems that help in providing services, drug consultations, and treatment of poisoning cases.

The faculty members of the department also participate in community service activities such as voluntary health convoys and medical awareness campaigns, which aim to educate community members on the optimal use of medical drugs to create a healthy and conscious society.
