null Organizing Training Course on First Aid with Najran Saudi Red Crescent

Based on the annual plan of College of Pharmacy Student Activity Unit and its awareness of the importance of training and continuously educating its students and employees, the Unit of Student Activities organized a training course on first aids. The training course was held in collaboration with Najran Saudi Red Crescent, on Monday 11/2/1437 in the college auditorium, attended by the Dean of the college Dr. Saad Ahmed Al-Qahtani.

Mr. Mohammed Salem, Saudi Red Crescent training supervisor, and his colleagues gave the training.  The course dealt with how to deal with emergency cases and the proper way to provide first aids to those who need CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), as well as methods of first aids for people with special cases such as pregnant women, the elderly and infants as well as the victims of traffic accidents and injuries that result from home accidents. The college students, faculties and personnel attended the course.

     At the end of the session, the Dean of the college thanked the Red Crescent branch in Najran, all the attendees and the organizing committee in the college for their efforts in the success of the training course. He concluded the meeting with distributing acknowledgement certificates to the participating members of the Red Crescent members.
