The College of Pharmacy is committed to achieving its vision, mission and goals consistent with the vision, mission and goals of Najran University through leadership in pharmaceutical education, scientific research, community service and preparing distinguished pharmacists who compete in the labor market to contribute to the development of the health role assigned to them and the development of the pharmaceutical sector in this generous country. The college has five scientific departments: Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacology, Department of Pharmaceutics, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Department of Pharmacognosy. The College offers a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program. These departments teach various program courses that include several aspects related to the fields of pharmacy to enable graduate students to work in multiple fields such as hospital pharmacies, community pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and industries, poison centers, the Food and Drug Authority, and other fields of the pharmacy profession. The college also seeks to develop its undergraduate academic program and plans to open postgraduate programs in various specialization in pharmacy, which will improve the quality and outcomes of pharmaceutical education. The college has a significant and active role in serving the community by implementing many community initiatives and providing pharmaceutical consultations by faculty members and college students that target all members of society, focusing on the awareness aspect of the optimal use of medications and herbal products.
