Unit Tasks - College of Pharmacy

Unit Objectives

The Security and Safety Unit is a supervisory and planning unit, and its tasks are based on:
• Introducing the responsibilities of security and safety within the college community
• Explain the importance of security and safety and their relationship to pharmaceutical sciences.
• Clarify the basics of security and safety for the employees of the College of Pharmacy, including students, faculty members, and administrators, by conducting training courses within the college.
• Explain and clarify the initial basics of the health practices expected of the employees of the College of Pharmacy in general and those who work inside the laboratories.

Ensure the availability of all safety means, including fire extinguishers, general safety tools, and guiding boards, and put posters in their places.
correct laboratories, offices, and classrooms, and clarifying the emergency exits in the college and the correct paths to them.
• Clarification and explanation of basic security and safety symbols for the employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
• Submitting periodic reports on any observations on the security and safety equipment in the college
• Coordinating with the competent authorities with regard to monitoring, following up, and updating the security and safety system in the college
